When it comes to dreamy, creative indie pop, New Jersey's Real Estate do it damn well. Their eponymous first album, which came out in 2009, was a definite favorite; perfect for when I wanted to listen to something different but easily so. The band will be releasing their second album, Days, this fall, but have dropped their first single "It's Real," available for free download. Similar to their past work, the track manages to evoke a hint of dark introspection amidst sunny harmonies, a dichotomy that I found incredibly interesting (particular when it's done well).You can get the track in exchange for your email address here, along with the full track listing for Days.
