Remember Rio Rio, that awesome indie quintet making moves out of San Francisco? Well, they remember you and are back with a new release by the name of “Last Flight” that is sure help you reach your daily good vibes goal.
“Last Flight” is another delicious helping of rocktronica, packed full of shimmer and synths. I even felt a bit of the The Killers on this latest track, especially in the intro. However, the vocals create such a different atmosphere than what I am used to with pop tunes that a strict comparison doesn’t fit.
Props to Rio Rio for the catchy guitar and drum work as well. I’m impressed with how much they jam pack into one song without ever losing control. Here’s to an amazing rest of 2012 for one of my favorite new groups.
