Here’s some good vibrations for you: Sango just dropped his Da Rocinha OUTTAKES + Remixes‘ – an experimental musical study of Brazil’s baile funk. It’s a fantastic listen, spanning sounds from ambient chillhop to more bass heavy trap.
Sango is Kai, a 20-year-old producer living in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He’s obsessed with the art of making waveforms and influenced by love from above. I’m way down with his sound and style, conscious music that draws its inspiration from the world. Check out the drums on “Angola Maluca.”
This is a free release – all for the love of music – but any and all donations would help the artist take a trip out to California to play on Soulection Radio Shadow #100. Make it happen.
