Scissor Sisters have been on many people’s minds for a while now, especially with the success of their massive YouTube hit “Let’s Have A Kiki,” which circuited the interwebs like a wildfire. Today’s track titled “Self Control” has been under the radar as far as music blogs go, but that doesn’t make it any less relevant.
It’s clear that these guys aim to embrace the obscurely beautiful, and see their place in the industry as the campy pop-cultured weirdos that love to make people dance. Obviously, it’s not the best we’ve heard from Scissor Sisters, but it’s still catchy as hell.
