I have two words for Shadows on Stars’ new video for “Out Of My Head”: hot and heavy. For as complex and deconstructed Shadows On Stars’ music is, this video is hypnotizingly simple and seductive.
The video is set in an elegantly gothic bar where calm, cool, and collected frontwoman Randa Smith is owning her sexuality and power. Her body winds and grooves to the music while she moans and groans about the ensuing insanity that has overcome her. All the while the duo’s other half, Brian Vincent, watches stoically yet entrancingly throughout the video, eventually succumbing to the insanely infectious atmosphere that “Out Of My Head” projects.
This video encapsulates the raw grunge and sexy carefree attitude that most people enjoy living or watching so whichever category you fall into, it’s easy to see why Shadows On Stars are on a steady rise to success.
