Shigeto

Percussions Lab, a music collective based out of NYC, just released a pretty awesomely stacked compilation in support of their 10 year anniversary. Shigeto lays claim to the first track on the celebratory album with a single entitled "Friends and Lovers."Starting off with a tepid electronic beat, Shigeto's single is downtempo but complex. It's the type of track that seems like it can be created by any average Jane on the street with Garage Band, but the subtlety and charisma cannot be beat. Whatever music magic Shigeto employed here, I'm certainly feeling placid and calm after one listen.With a name-your-own-price deal, this compilation is hard not to snag.
