Swedish indie rockers Shout Out Louds are back once more, releasing the second single, “Walking In Your Footsteps,” from their fourth album, Optica. So far so good for the quintet, especially after the first single “Blue Ice” was released as a 7″ vinyl late last year.
Well, they’ve taken the gimmicky route once more with the introduction of a flute in this latest single. I don’t know about you, but this particular flute reminds me of a kind of a medieval folksy era — weird, but inexplicably enchanting at the same time. After a three-year absence, it hardly seems as though the Swedes are missing a beat.
Optica is set to be released on February 26, 2013. Mark your calendar!
