The video for "Your Love Ain't Fair" is a journey into the unknown. No, really. What is going on in this video? I'm assuming from the repetitive one-line lyric and blinking lights of all sorts, this song and video is best suited for someone in a trance-like state. Perhaps that is the plot behind the video? As the song repeats "Your love ain't fair," there are numerous shots of lights blinking -- never consistent, never long-lasting. Just like some instances of love.
This is obviously an artistic statement from the band and director. How many different locations they had to visit to capture enough footage to fill this video, I'll never know. But I do know that this song and video would fit perfectly into the setting of an underground rave, complete with strobes and blinking lights.
