My attention was caught this morning when I heard the upcoming single "The Mountain Dogs" by Liverpool girl-trio Stealing Sheep, to be released Valentines Day, 2011. The group's sound is unique: distinctively lo-fi, featuring three-part vocals, psychedelic guitars and a bit of organ/synth.Working with the girls, first time producer/arranger Joe Wills has helped the group create a 'magical doom' atmosphere featuring chaotic harmonies, pitch shifts and a little bit of cassette-tape-sound. They'll begin a tour of the UK at the Kazimier in Liverpool with Lone Wolf and Owls hosted by Harvest Suns on the 5th of February 2011.You can find more information about the band here.
