Sunday Night Chill

What's so good?

By | December 2nd, 2012

I love Sunday Night Chill, because the music we post here is flexible.

You can listen to it in the background while you write an essay late at night, hunched over your too-bright computer screen, headphones on, coffee by your side. And then you can listen to that same playlist while you’re sprawled out in the park on a warm day, watching the sun fade into the horizon. Or while you’re huddled up by a fireplace, feet adorned with holiday socks. Or while you’re staring out the window of a fast-moving car.

This is the type of music that molds to the situation, mellow and relaxing, yet intense and emotional at times as well. The only time you probably don’t want to put on this playlist is when you’re having a house party, and your friends want to dance. You should probably find an electro pop track to set the right mood for that occasion. (Might I suggest this one?)

This week’s SNC features tracks from popular artists like Air, Sigur Rós, Nicolas Jaar, and others. Go find that horizon, and enjoy.
