Birmingham indie rockers Swim Deep have a lot to be excited for in the next coming months. Their debut album is being produced by Charlie Hugall (the man behind Florence + the Machine’s Lungs album) and their newest single “The Sea” is set for release on March 4, 2013.
To set things off in a positive direction, Manchester-based producer Nudist has taken to the unreleased single and has added some livelier pops and bubbles into the mix. This version takes to the original’s alternative nature, but ultimately sounds like something completely different. I’m not saying that the original isn’t interesting, but when set parallel to this mix, I’m in favor of the latter.
