After discovering “Honey” a few months ago, I knew it wouldn’t be long until we heard from Birmingham’s Swim Deep again. Well it’s the new year, and they’ve followed their success up with their latest release “The Sea,” which sees the four piece remain on the path to stardom.
Continuing that feel-good vibe and incorporating elements of rock and surf, “The Sea” is sure to put you in the right mood for one of those cold wintry nights next to a fireplace. It’s kind of funny that their appearance lends people to believe that they’re a bit grungy, but in reality they make some pretty catchy pop melodies.
Swim Deep have yet another winner on their hands as they march into 2013 with all the confidence that all newly signed bands should exude.
