The last time we had anything to do with Teengirl Fantasy was back in October of 2010, when we covered their EP 7AM. As such, we’d expect a little bit of “sound evolution” to take place during the gap.
Their new song “Motif” teases at their new album, out via R&S/True Panther sometime later this year. As a first glance, a couple things of note: instrumental with no vocals, strong bassline, quite a long track.
Generally, it’s quite enjoyable background music — and not much more. I find myself forgetting it’s playing, which is excellent for productivity.
