Remember when I was all like “omg, The Black Keys have a new album coming! And omg “Lonely Boy” is the first single! And it sounds just like The Black Keys! That’s SOOO awesome!” Well, it was inevitable that there’d be another single, and here we have it: “Run Right Back.”
And no, doesn’t sound like the normal Black Keys that we’re so familiar with. Mostly, that is (and you’ll have to pardon the bad audio quality for now).
So what makes this sound different? Two things in particular: 1) the higher, slick guitar line; 2) the grinding, White Stripes-esque bassline. Both of which get me excited for the impending release of El Camino. You ready for it?
