The Drums x Basement Jaxx

This hypnotic remix of "Money" is entirely what you would expect from this dance DJ duo. The beginning starts off pretty tranced-out and fast-paced, which left me a little unclear as to how it was going to unfold and capture the essence of the original. Then, the slow melodic progressions welcomed the Drums track with perfect fluidity.Although "Money," The Drums' first single off Portamento, was released back in August of last year, Basement Jaxx's superfluous remix takes the song to unfamiliarly familiar territory and makes the song relevant again.
