Introducing: The Electric Sons! Gaining industry momentum ever since their debut self-titled EP released back in May 2012 (which included four stellar compositions), "Breathing Electricity" has been their only single made available since. Whether this is their way of teasing us or not, the Atlanta-based duo consisting of vocalist/guitarist Andrew Miller and keyboardist/vocalist Ben Richards have sure perked our immediate interest.
Both originating from artistic backgrounds (Miller is an illustrator, Richards is an advertising graduate), the two had their sights set on an electronic-alternative musical venture. Beginning to get their feet off the ground thanks to accumulated local and distant fans, The Electric Sons began headlining their own shows all over Atlanta. It is on and off stage where they describe that they "bring an electric orgy of synthesized riffs and swirly guitar melodies." I couldn't have described it better myself.
The crisp, on-point vocals effortlessly soar above and around the electrifying backdrop, catapulting "Breathing Electricity" to something worthy of being featured on a euphoric Coca Cola ad.
This "two-headed music machine" might just be the first big electronic phenomenon to emerge from the South. Let's wait and see.
