The Good Natured

One song, two contrasting takes. The Good Natured's "Be My Animal" was recently tackled in the form of a remix by Max Cooper, a favorite on Indie Shuffle. Today, you get to listen to them both in one post!The original features modern, electro-pop synth work fronted by the strong vocals of Sarah McIntosh, who recorded her first EP Warriors in 2008 using her grandmother's 1980's Yamaha keyboard. The tracks quickly made their way across the internet and were picked up by major DJs on Radio 1 and BBC 6Music. She was subsequently joined by the likes Sean McGhee (producer for Bjork, Imogen Heap) for a 2009 follow-up EP titled Your Body is a Machine."Be My Animal" is the second single to be released since, put out by Kitsuné in July of this year. Once again, the track has been picked up by a number of DJs and music outlets, including BB6, XFM, and NME TV. The Good Natured were also recently featured at this year's CMJ in New York.And perhaps most telling, the group has been subject of a slew of remixes, most notably today's Bonus track by Max Cooper.
