California’s The Neighbourhood have been a little under the radar recently, even with their buzzed-about self-titled release this year. That’s all about to change as they are slowly leaking singles, first with “Sweater Weather,” and now this tune, “A Little Death.” Seems they have a handfull of new songs up their sleeves, and one can only assume that a new album will soon follow.
“A Little Death” is another brooding pop number. It seems to be their go-to style, and although they exhausted it a little bit in their self-titled release, it’s still good to hear more new music that keeps them sticking to their guns. It’s kind of tragic sounding in one regard, but also an uplifting melody at the same time.
