Zane Lowe premiered The Neighbourhood’s “Sweater Weather” on his Radio 1 show last week, and since then the Newbury Park quintet has, to put it lightly, blown up. You’ve probably already heard this hypnotizing rock track and if you haven’t, well, today is your lucky day.
Word is The Neighbourhood takes pride in their mystique and want to keep our focus on the music. Well, our focus is certainly on “Sweater Weather.” Number 1 on Hype Machine by a mile. Over 14,000 listens on SoundCloud in a matter of days. Not bad for a band with 128 followers. Not bad at all.
