It’s not often that you come across a band that’s talented, innovative and knows how to make a mockery of past genres with uncanny humor and captivating satire. Most musicians don’t combine the art of music and comedy together, probably because that’s quite a feat to accomplish. But The Push? Well, they embrace it head on.
Take their video for their single, “Dance Pants,” for instance — it’s a satirical take on a well-known music group from decades ago. All jokes aside, their music actually is really catchy, and they’ve got a great grasp on a genre that undeniably defined the 80s and just will not die. These guys must really be on to something, considering their video for this single received over 32,000 views within the first month of releasing it!
