The Rapture

A-Trak has a reputation as a good remixer. The Montreal based DJ has tackled Kanye West, Digitalism, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Justice, among others -- each to great reception. And now he's featured twice on The Rapture's newest EP, a remix album for their lead single "How Deep Is Your Love?"I've always been a little skeptical about remix EPs like this. Who wants to listen to five variations of the same track in a row? And to make matters worse, tracks 1 and 2 are variations of one remix, while 4 and 5 are variations of this A-Trak remix. So you're essentially listening to the same remix two times in a row, with perhaps a slight tweak.Rant aside, A-Trak does a great job with this remix. In fact, I enjoy it quite a bit more than the original single.
