What's so good?

We included a remix of Alpine's "Villages" from downtempo artist Leigh Hannah (The Townhouses) on our Australian Sunday Night Chill last month, and now we're bringing you the first single from his soon-to-be-released album, Diaspora. The Melbourne-based musician has supported Toro Y Moi and Seven Bells on their Australian visits, while he's also just returned from his own European tour "“ which included a performance at the Torstraßen Festival in Berlin.

Featuring Italian vocalist Giorgio Tuma, "Talk" is a beautiful, daydream-inducing track. Hannah's fascination with a variety of ethnic styles is easy to spot, with elements of tropical, Asian and African music all appearing - creating an incredible ambient soundscape. Hannah is a master of his craft, effortlessly piecing together gorgeously hypnotic music.

Diaspora will feature collaborations with other noted Australian artists, including Guerre, Wintercoats and Rainbow Chan, and will be released through Yes Please on November 20.
