Sounds like: upbeat elliott smith, tunng
What’s so good?
Throw aside those “sounds like” descriptions there. I had a pretty hard time pinpointing this one. Someone said, upon hearing this band, that it sounded an awful lot like Elliott Smith was singing. I’d have to agree. This little EP, released by a completely obscure artist who cannot be traced to a record label, and seems to get off on being hard-to-find, has been making its way into my ears repeatedly. For some reason, I just can’t seem to turn it off.
this is the “debut release by a new and reclusive artist who goes by the name of tiago la is losing the plot. his self-titled ep features 6 mysterious tracks of off-beat pop melodics, sountrack-esque self-sampling and lush psychadelic fx” – what.cd. check it out, yo.
