“Cupidity,” only available on the Japanese edition of Creature Dreams, opens with a delicate vinyl scratch and a sublime chill. There are fairies glittering in a wishful Japanese garden before a beat blows in so smooth. I get lost in the sexual ease, an exotic and hopeful twist on early 90′s r&b.

In the meanwhile I’ll eagerly await her evolution, a 2013 album release from Ultra Records. To hear it first, follow her on twitter.
