You’re here for new music, right? And I’ve been posting a whole lot of indie pop lately, so it’s time I take a gamble and give you something you probably don’t recognize.
Tor is a Vancouver based artist who certainly falls in the same vein as Bonobo and/or Emancipator. He released his debut album Drum Therapy in December of last year via Loci Records, and it has quickly become one of my favorites (stream the full thing via Bandcamp).
So, it’s not the typical cup of tea for Song of the Day, but deal with it. This is great music!
