Touch Sensitive

Pizza Guy (Lauer Remix)

Sounds like: 5eya, Aeroplane, Goldroom
If there's one thing I am always craving, it's beats. And Future Classic solidly delivers on them.A month ago, Australian artist Touch Sensitive dropped the track "Pizza Guy" to great fanfare. The release had come off a lot of hype after being featured (as the first track!) in a Goldroom mix and a Classixx curated selection of tracks. It is, for the record, a great song deserving of the attention. It is also somewhat of a disco club banger, if you will. However, Lauer's fresh take proves the track has legs, or maybe crust. Where the original "Pizza Guy"  strays into nu-disco territory,  Lauer's rework renders it more deep house. This is especially apparent in the introduction, which switches from a Com Truise-sounding industrial synth to a more viscous house beat. Each song can stand independently of the other, so listen to both and see which you prefer!Don't get me started on the name, though. The genres are tagged under "Pizza Disco" and "Intergalactic Pizza"-- is this going to be a thing?
