What's so good?

While Brisbane is only Australia’s third largest music market (behind Sydney and Melbourne), it has become a breeding ground for some of the best indie pop bands in the country. Four-piece Tourism look to be the next band to stake their claim on the strength of their latest single “Horses Back.”

After relocating from the UK, brothers James and Joe Wisniewski became acquainted with Brisbane locals Adrian Brown and Ben Forthergill, and Tourism was formed. Catchy, innocent tracks are their forte, with the beautiful “Paint in Colours” also a recent addition to the Tourism collection. Receiving plenty of airplay locally, “Horses Back” is a driving, carefree track. Reminiscent of the Kooks’ earlier work – and not just because of the British accent – it’s full of driving percussion, jangly guitar and unbridled-raspy vocals. It’s infectious.

This is music made to be enjoyed, and I’m sure you will do just that. Currently in the studio working on new material, there looks to be much more enjoyment to come.
