What's so good?

After a couple false starts, RAC has officially unveiled his remix of Two Door Cinema Club's "Next Year," the second single off their album Beacon.

André Allen Anjos is obviously quite familiar with the band: his rendition of "Something Good Can Work" actually ended up being his most-popular remix to date, garnering well over 500k listens on Soundcloud. It also topped our 2011 list of best remixes, likely attributing for the bulk of those plays ;-)

Jokes aside, the latest string of "official" remixes from the Two Door Cinema Club camp have generally been thoroughly disappointing -- not unlike their album. Which sucks, given that they're one of my favorite bands. Fortunately, RAC has breathed fresh air into their material: without a doubt, this is one of my favorite remixes of 2013.
