I may be a bit late with this one, but Tycho’s album Past Is Prologue is an absolutely gorgeous textural synth pop jamboree guaranteed to alert your eardrums.
It’s undeniably hypnotizing, combining numerous synth effects with a smooth mix of drum beats. There is so much to grasp that you’ll probably have to put it on repeat to thoroughly absorb all that goes on. To sum it up, Past Is Prologue is a journey into the unknown. This is the definition of atmospheric.
