This definitely isn’t the type of indie pop we so often feature as Song of the Day.
A bit of a future garage exploration, Four Tet’s remix of “Smalltalk” by Ultraista ranks itself as one of the more interesting renditions that I’ve heard the UK-based producer tackle.
No doubt, the reason for this must be Ultraísta’s entrancing vocals, perfect on each note. I bet this would work just as well late night at a club as it would while driving down the freeway.
