I saw that this track on Soundcloud was favorited by one of my favorite chillwavers, Sun Glitters. Holy crap, am I glad I decided to check it out.
The track is called “Sun Flow,” and it’s by a group called Un.Think from Joao Aguiar, Portugal. There’s not much out there about them; I Googled the name, and all I got were hits for a social media website of the same name. I can only hope they will continue to upload some more tunes, because I am hooked.
The track is the perfect escape track. It builds a beautiful atmosphere under a mostly chillwave influence. Nothing over the top here, just a perfect groove with some great sampling and perfectly placed synths. I’ve listened to it five times in a row and can’t stop.
