What's so good?

I'll admit it. I'm a sucker for R&B/electronic remixes. There is something beautifully dirty about the two genres coming together that I can't get enough of. Today I have a collaborative remix of Usher's "Climax" by giants Flosstradamus and Diplo for your headphones.

Coming up on a new album release, Usher has released "Climax," a new single grasping back to when he ruled the radio waves his way, grinding his way through the 1990s with those glorious abs and boyish smile. The original, produced by Diplo, very unsurprisingly has a 21st century twist with electronic influence very prevalent throughout the track.

The remix by Flosstradamus and Diplo spirals and dives, leaving the vocals intact for the most part and adding snappy drum machines with a sense of longing throughout. Although the remix is not an entirely new take on "Climax," the two producers do a spectacular job of making innovations where appropriate without compromising the integrity of Usher's creation. That being said, it's not the most revolutionary remix ever, but I'll take it.

Best part of the remix? Usher Raymond, of course. Check out the original here.
