Warm Soda is set to release their debut album, Someone For You, in the next week or so, and they released this newest single, “Waiting For Your Call,” in the meantime.
The track further cements their connection and similarities to The Strokes. Usually, I would be a little hesitant with bands that are trying to recreate this sound, but with Warm Soda it seems so natural to them. “Waiting For Your Call” has all the appealing elements of The Strokes — it’s calm, cool and has an underlying attitude to it.
I think I’m going to really like this debut album from the Oakland trio.
