I’m surprised that WHY? has never been featured on Indie Shuffle before. Let’s not further delay their introduction! WHY? has recently released their newest single, “Sod In The Seed,” after a long three year wait since their last release. And this one’s a doozy!
This track is a modern satirical take our generation’s lifestyle. It’s really an impressive and blunt perspective on what WHY? likes to call “this first-world curse.” While the political and cultural underlay within the song is quite accurate and slightly ominous, the actual instrumental compilation is really catchy in a bright and modern psych pop kind of way.
Really though, while you’re enjoying this infectious jangle, listen to the lyrics. Reassess your life. Learn from the EP of WHY?, aptly named Sod In The Seed, set to be released on August 14.
