A delicious remix to say the least, The Emperor Machine makes all the right moves with this version of YACHT’s “Dystopia (The Earth Is On Fire),” featured back in 2011 on their Dystopia Remix EP.
When Claire Evans’ pristine chorus loops combine with a steady beat progression and a frenzied dance breakdown, I find myself in a hysterical dance unconsciousness similar to what I had experienced back in my groove-induced LCD Soundsystem days.
I mean, if it’s brought to us by DFA Records, you know it’s gonna be sick. That said, gear your ears and get ready for some serious shimmy-shakedowns!
