I’ve listened to this song about 7 times in the last 2 hours, and up until the last listen I still wasn’t sure whether I should feature it as Song of the Day. I mean, it’s almost 6 minutes, it’s not particularly groundbreaking, and I just wasn’t feeling inspired.
Then I realized I’d listened to it 7 times. Clearly there’s an allure if I keep hitting play over and over again. So here we go: today’s Song of the Day is “Dropla” by Youth Lagoon.
The track will appear on the Boise, Idaho-based artist’s second album Wondrous Bughouse, which will be available March 5th via Fat Possum.
