Why do we like this?

Over the past year, I've reviewed a total of four songs from Aaron Taos — including this one. And the reason I jump on here every time I hear a new one is because of the fact that he's such a versatile artist. One minute, he could be singing over a Downtempo R&B instrumental, and the next he'll hit you with some back-to-basics Garage Rock.

Many artists try to pull off this kind of catalog diversity, but it often comes off as 'try hardy' or disingenuous. But with Aaron, it feels like he is truly as eclectic as the music he puts out into the world, and I can appreciate that!

With all that being said, I'm still glad to say my Aaron Taos listening experience has come full circle. With his latest track, the TŌN produced "Not Over Yet," he calls back to the chilled out style I first encountered on "Hands."

Even at its fastest, most dance infused sections, "Not Over Yet" maintains an underlying coolness. Kind of like that guy at the club that sits in the corner and smoothly nods his head as everyone rages on around him, but no one says anything because instead of coming off as detached or douchey, he gives off an enviably care-free vibe.
