Why do we like this?
Here's some good news to end your working week, Active Child is back! The alias of singer/songwriter Pat Grossi has teased the release of his long awaited sophomore album with first single, "1999," and it's a good one.
Grossi's euphoric falsetto croons over an elegant piano riff and angelic harps, creating a dreamy, laid-back love song.
The album itself, Mercy, was produced and recorded in Brooklyn with Van Rivers (Blonde Redhead, Fever Ray) and is a collection of ten songs exploring different aspects of love.
It's fair to say after hearing "1999" I'm pretty excited for this one.
