Why do we like this?
I can't say I am the biggest Lil B fan out there, but it's hard to argue with the talent of some of the producers he's worked with over the years. Clams Casino comes to mind, as I have been blasting his new instrumental tape nonstop. Well, another beatmaker worth talking about who recently popped up on to my radar is AJ RICE.
AJ just dropped his first solo instrumental project, MiDNiGHT, dim LiGHT, over on Bandcamp. Fans of downtempo hip-hop beats rejoice. The whole project is good, but I've chosen to feature "Ghosts..." because it, no pun intended, haunted me when I was first listening to the tape. I enjoyed the intro and the ambiance of it.
MiDNiGHT, dim LiGHT will be on replay for me over the next few days. No doubt.
