Why do we like this?

Anderson .Paak's Malibu is his breakout record. It will be talked about at the end of this year when the lists are made and awards are shilled out and it will be talked about for some time after that. 

The magic is Anderson's music comes from a balance between discipline and spontaneity. His music pulls from great music across genres and he delivers it with the innate force of a natural talent and seasoned performer. 

The album features a laundry list of producers yet sounds cohesive. He has The Game on the superb "Room In Here," sounding the closest to vulnerable we'll likely ever hear Jayceon.
