Sounds like:
Arca,
James Blake
Why do we like this?
I first discovered Grammy nominated producer Andrew Bayer through his work with Above & Beyond's album Common Ground, and now Anjunabeats is bringing him out for some dark, discordant pop with their newest release.
This left-field pop was a bit of a curveball from what I'm used to getting in my inbox, and reminded me a bit of what I imagine an Arca and James Blake collaboration might sound like. It turns out he pulls influence on "Immortal Lover" from a varied plethora of artists including Kate Bush, Atoms Of Peace, Aphex Twin and Talk Talk.
If you enjoy this, hear more from Andrew Bayer via SoundCloud.
