Why do we like this?

Bag Raiders + SAFIA = electronic bliss.

I was tempted to leave this review with the aforementioned statement, but there are a few things to mentioned here. The single in question, "Checkmate," is taken from their most recent EP and is the last release before the Sydney duo drop their next album.

Enlisting the help of the distinguished vocals of SAFIA's lead man Benjamin Joseph, "Checkmate" sees Chris Stacey and Jack Glass delve into some pulsating and uptempo electro pop. As always, the synth work is scintillatingly addictive and evokes feelings of wanderlust and euphoria.

Check out the rest of the EP here especially track 1 "Breakdown," which is just so reminiscent of the old, but gold Bag Raiders.
