Why do we like this?

Ruckazoid is a bit slept on, not for lack of creativity or talent. Heads might have caught his hard-hitting funk on All-City release or the crazy remix that pops up here and there, but not much else. 

Eternally intriguing, it seems just as I forget about the cat something else pops up. The latest is a tweet from Kutmah, forever the pioneer, sending discerning tweeters to Ruck's hard-to-navigate website where this remix lived. Part of a series of works done with just turntables, his Big L remix puts a modern thick thump behind Lamont Coleman's timeless raps. 

Also, extra extra points to the Scratch God for sounding a bit like the voice on "The Symphony" coaxing cats to rap. Hungry fans can go to his site and cop a $20,000 vinyl, or if you're feeling a little frugal there is also a $15,000 option.
