Why do we like this?
A few months ago, Indie Shuffle premiered the first single from Nordic-influenced folk collective Bjear. Today, I am stoked to be the first to share their latest release, "Cold."
Recorded in the Australian group's makeshift home studio, "Cold" is a beautifully charming tune about the winter months.
"Cold" finds Bjear expanding their musical pallet, incorporating military-esque drumming, a trumpet, and cathartic harmonies, with frontman Dan White's alluring vocals, anchoring the tune's emotional core. You can even hear the faint sound of rain in the background, giving "Cold" an intimate feel.
