Black Market - Gaze

Why do we like this?
Charlotte's own Black Market really brings me back to my adolescent years, when I took my all of my pent-up anger and hormones on fast and loud punk rock ballads.

"Gaze" has made me all nostalgic for those angst-filled days. I hold a soft spot in my heart for this style of music, and nowadays, when I hear a band that's keeping it alive, I have a deep appreciation for them. As you listen to this single, you'll notice that it has all of the classic qualities of a pop-punk song, including ridiculously fast drums, gritty guitar riffs, bellowing bass, and shout-out-loud singalong vocals. What's not to love? From the verses to the chorus to the breakdown, this song has got it all!

What's even better is that Black Market has their music up on Bandcamp= for free, because, and I quote, "everything is free on the Black Market." And that's not all. You can follow their experiment of releasing an EP once a month for a year! These guys are unstoppable.
