Why do we like this?

This delicate and cinematic ballad from the American singer/songwriter Brandon Hoogenboom is just what I needed this morning. It's a really calming piece of music, and listening to this song really felt like a healthy way to start the day.

A prominent acoustic guitar, elegant strings, and some laid back rocky drums all combine gracefully with Brandon's dreamy vocals on "You Don't Know Me" to create a warm and reflective song with a real soft sense of ease to it. 

The self-proclaimed "underwear designin', music makin', Prius drivin', Californian hipster living in LA" recently released this singalong with his debut album, For Mabel, which you can (if you'd like to) lend an ear to in full over here.
