Why do we like this?

Brazilian Girls' new single, "Pirates" is a far jump from the sound their well-known for but doesn't lack creativity or refreshing innovation.

Brazilian Girls is one of my all-time favorite bands so to hear that they're finally releasing a new album after 10 years is nothing short of incredibly exciting for me. Hearing their first single has validated that they've still got it and have remained fearless in their experimentation of creating approachable yet avant-garde electro-pop. This time around, there's definitely a new wave influence on the forefront. If this is any indication of how the rest of their album will be, I'll happily wait with bated breath.
