Why do we like this?

Canopy Climbers is a band we've covered a couple of times before, and they're back at with a brand new EP titled Fever and their second single of the same name.

The track finds the band taking a little bit of a lighter approach compared to their last EP. On "Fever," an upbeat love song, the band showcases their synth pop stylings.

A carousel-influenced synth blends seamlessly with some funky electronic bass and drums. This sets the stage for lyrics like "I'd be okay if we could stay forever tangled like this." It all leads up to a killer drum and vocals breakdown, reminding me of some of my favorite 80s pop songs, making me groove along and nod my head in approval.
