Is the rapid success of Paris-based producer Fhin a simple case of right place, right time? The 300,000 streams on his first single, a pulsating remix of Telepopmusik's "Breathe," suggest that Fhin is no one flip wonder.
Today we're premiering Fhin's seductive, tropical flip of Chløë Black's "27 Club," a track inspired by the infamous "club" of musicians who died at the age of 27. I like what Fhin's done with the place, accentuating the finger snaps and playing up Black's smoky vocals while never quite stepping too far outside the box.
