Every time I hear this, I have the same reaction. I inhale a deep breath, because my response already seems overwhelmingly too complicated; I mull over a starting point, which usually lands somewhere close to ADD study statistics or electronic music appreciation. After deciding that neither of those explanations can even touch what it is I feel nor warrant the energy I would burn on their brief revelation, I just give them a knowing smile and decide: there are those who "get it," and those who don't.
